What is actually happening?
Complex bonuses combine entry conditions, stages, collectors and multipliers. Marketing often collapses them into one headline.
Presentation can make a simple rule feel like a story with momentum, skill or unfinished business. Strip the sequence back to entry condition, cost, event, reset and outcome. Those five parts are enough to expose most misleading interpretations.
The common mistake
People often use a visible feature as a shortcut for an invisible probability. A meter, large multiplier or long animation is easy to observe; the full outcome distribution is not. The interface therefore receives more weight than the evidence deserves.
Do this once
Draw each branch, note resets and attach a source to every probability claim. Unknown branches stay marked unknown.
What counts as evidence?
Prefer a current rule file, certified configuration or regulator statement. Provider copy can explain intended behaviour but should not be stretched into a claim about frequency, consumer safety or Australian legality. A personal session is an observation, not a statistical validation.
